Liga Petre-Gutmane was born and raised in Liepaja. She has been graduated from Applied Art School of Liepaja. Her special art style is paintings on silk, what she has learned in Germany. Liga Petre-Gutmane is a member of German Artists Association. Summary her exhibitions has been organized not only in Latvia, but also in Germany, Switzerland, France and Sweden.
